The Grade 1 listed pub dates back to 1633 and is full of charm and character. the staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of free WiFi. the location on the High Street made it easy to access local amenities and the home-cooked food served throughout the day was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the live music events in the pub. Would highly recommend this friendly and family-run establishment for a cozy stay in Thornbury.
